Pattern for cat and lamb

  • Use colored paper (construction paper works fine) and fold the sheet in half.
  • Draw the shape of half of the animal's head and then a line for the body using the pattern as a guide.
  • Cut along the line. Open up, then fold down the head just behind the ears (where it is narrowest).

Encourage the children to use their imaginations when deciding on decorating their animals.  It could be as simple as white cotton balls for the lamb, or as complex as they wish.

These animals, head and shoulders, are about 6 inches high and stand up by themselves.  If you used larger paper, the animals would be taller.
