Kids can make their own Halloween Jack-o-Lantern with paper plates.
Materials (2 paper plates, black and
green paper, glue, scissors and markers or paint)
Color the bottoms of the paper plates
orange. If you have orange plates, use those. You
can use markers, crayons, paint, whatever you have available.
We mixed red and yellow paint to create the orange paint for this Jack-o-Lantern.
Glue the plates together.
Cut out features for the face, leaves and stem.
Glue them on.
You can even make a happy face on one side and scary face on the other.
Many families have developed new traditions
for kids on Halloween. We'd be happy to include some of those
ideas if you want to send them in. Send us a note
if you have any questions or a Halloween craft idea you would like to share.
