Glittery Christmas Pine Cones

Materials

pine cones,
glue, sparkles,
gold thread

Instructions:

Spread glue all over the pine cone. Kids can use a paint brush to get the glue all over the pine cone.
Gently sprinkle sparkles on the pine cone.
Make sure there is a piece of paper underneath to catch the extra glitter.

For younger children, put the sparkles in a small paper bag. Have them drop the gluey pine cones into the bag and shake.

Another way to make these pine cone ornaments is to have the kids use glitter glue to decorate the pine cones in one step.

Attach a loop of tread to hang the finished pine cone.
