Halloween Pumpkin

It's Halloween this month.  You'll find everything from pumpkin carving tips to the history of why we celebrate Halloween.  There are lots of craft ideas including how to make spider webs you can use as decorations, and how to make your own Trick or Treat bags.

Some families have made the decision not to let their children Trick or Treat and are creating new Halloween Activities.

Crafts

This month we're feature two recipes that are always popular.  The Playdough page has eight different recipes for everything from cooked playdough that lasts forever, to a cornstarch clay that dries like porcelain.   Or try this recipe for  Finger Paint  if your kids love to paint.

Science

There are science experiments for growing salt crystals, and sugar crystals as well as information pages on what are crystals, how atoms bond, and what is in an atom.

Games

Continuum is a fun game to learn something about people you've just met.
