Imaginary Hide-n-Seek

  • Pick a location that everyone is familiar with.  It could be your backyard, basement, or even a favorite campsite.
  • Each person needs to think of the place they would hide.
  • Then everyone takes turns guessing where they are hiding. (Behind the bathroom door? In your closet? In your bed? behind the sofa? Under the kitchen table?)
  • Kids have to be willing to use the 'honor' system and admit when they are found.

Variation:  Have the kids decide what size they want to be, and then pick their hiding spot.  "I am the size of mouse."  This variation opens the game up to lots more imaginative hiding spots.
